I, ____________________________(the renter), agree to rent from Donna Clark, a condo in Akumal, Mexico.  Total number of people in my party is _______, which includes _____ adults and _______ children.  We will be arriving on ______________ (date) and departing on  ______________ (date).  Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am.
I agree to pay the total rental fee of $____________.  Fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee will reserve the dates which is $___________.    The balance is required 60 days before the arrival date.

Upon payment, the following  terms and conditions apply:

1. A down payment of fifty percent (50%) of rental rate will reserve desired dates.  The other half of the rent or full payment is required 60 days before arrival date.
   
2. Cancellation Policy requires written notice (or email).  If this agreement is cancelled 61 days or more before the arrival date the down payment will be returned less a $100.00 processing fee.  If this agreement is cancelled 60 days or less before the arrival date, your down payment or monies will be forfeited.  There are no cancellations during high season or holidays.  If we rebook your cancelled reservation we will refund 90% of the rent received.  No refunds for bad weather, hurricanes or other disasters.  We strongly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance.
   
3. Release of Liability. I hereby permanently release P&D Clark and their representatives from liability for any injury, loss or damages caused to me ormy guests and personal property that may be caused by accident, event, fire, theft or other casualty during the rental period.
   
4. Indemnification. I acknowledge that P&D Clark is not liable for any injury, loss or damages caused to me or my guests or personal property that is or may be caused by any accident, event, fire, theft, or other casualty or cause during the rental period.
   
5. We ask our guests/renters to please take care of the condo as if it was your own.  Information provided may change without notice due in part to items that may be lost, misplaced or broken. 
   
6. This agreement is made pursuant to, and shall be governed by, Texas Law.

DIRECTIONS. 
The Cancun International Airport is located 60 miles north of Akumal with easy access to Highway 307, the principal north south route through the Riviera Maya. As you exit the airport you will approach an overpass. Here you will follow the signs which read "Tulum, Chetumal." You will be heading south on Highway 307 which will take you to all points south, including Playa del Carmen, Xcaret, Akumal, and Tulum.

South on the Hwy. 307…about 20 minutes will bring you to Puerto Morelos. There is a stoplight and several speed bumps here. The most significant land mark will be a PEMEX Gas Station on the right, just beyond the stoplight. Continue straight on Hwy. 307 through the intersection.

25 minutes further south on the highway is the city of Playa del Carmen. Jumping off point for ferries to Cozumel. As you pass through Playa del Carmen, you will encounter two principal intersections marked by stoplights.

Continuing south for 15 minutes, Puerto Aventuras will appear on your left. This is a large resort centered around a marina. There are many nice restaurants here, and it is lovely to stroll the marina in the evening to see the boats.

Akumal, is about 15 minutes south of Puerto Adventuras. As you travel south, you will pass the Copacabana All Inclusive Resort, and Robinson Tulum, All Inclusive Resort. Approximately 5 miles beyond the Robinson Tulum, you will crest a hill, just at the bottom of which will be posted signs for "Akumal" and "Akumal Playa."  To reach your accommodations, you will turn left, following signs to "Playa Akumal." In order to turn left, you will first ease off to the right and then curve around so that you will cross the highway directly. In Mexico, when turning left, the car behind you has the right of way. You must first pull off to the right and let the cars behind you pass before you turn. Carefully cross the highway and travel straight into town.  You will see the Super Chomak Grocery Store to your right and the Mini Super El Pueblo Grocery Store to your left. Continue on through the arches and swing left.  LaBahia Condos is about a mile down the road, on the right, between The Reef Condos and Villas Flamingos.  There is an office right in front, they have your key.
